Mike Killough was certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Residential and Commercial Real Estate Law from 1983, the first year the certification was available in Texas, to 2023. He is a Fellow of the Texas Bar College and was selected a Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly. He has been licensed to practice law in Texas for over 50 years, and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Texas Supreme Court.
Mike is a sole practitioner who provides understandable legal advice at reasonable prices. His practice emphasizes real estate law, wills, trusts, business formation, powers of attorney, and probate. Mike's practice is virtual, but in person meetings are possible if necessary.
A Distinguished Military Graduate in 1964, Mike served on active duty from 1967 to 1969. He attained the rank of Captain and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for outstanding service with the 10th Engineer Battalion (Combat), 3rd Infantry Division, where he was a Company Commander, Battalion Personnel Officer, and Battalion Executive Officer.
